Orsola’s Journey at Hemfrid
Orsola moved to Sweden from Italy, where she had already studied Swedish. With a background as an au pair and a growing interest in life here, she began job hunting just as the pandemic started.
“I was immediately drawn to Hemfrid because of the company’s strong focus on diversity and inclusion—values that are very close to my heart.”

The opportunity to grow internally was also important, making Hemfrid feel like a long-term choice.

Development and Different Roles at Hemfrid
Orsola began her career at Hemfrid as a home cleaner, a role she thoroughly enjoyed. She quickly took on more responsibility, first as a key holder and later as a team lead and Field Lead, where she trained and onboarded new colleagues.
“It was in these roles that my interest in HR grew,” Orsola explains.

Alongside her work, she began studying to become an HR coordinator with a focus on recruitment. Through volunteer assignments in HR and recruitment, she further developed her skills, and when a position opened in the recruitment department, she seized the opportunity.

Today, Orsola works as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and describes her time at Hemfrid as a journey filled with both professional and personal growth.

Working in Recruitment
“The best part of working in recruitment is contributing to the company’s talent supply—attracting, recruiting, and retaining talents that are a long-term fit for us,” says Orsola.
