Maurien’s journey at Hemfrid
Maurien joined Hemfrid two years ago and stepped straight into the Premium team. With four years of prior experience at another cleaning company, she thought she knew what to expect—but Hemfrid quickly surprised her. "I was introduced by a Handledare who was fantastic," she shares. "The first thing she told me was that here, we can do everything. At first, I thought that sounded strange, but then I understood—it’s about going that extra mile for the customer.”
With that mindset, Maurien began actively looking for ways to improve the customer experience. “I started suggesting solutions and improvements to give the customer something extra—something they wouldn’t get anywhere else.” Over time, her responsibilities grew to include babysitting, cooking, managing claims, and even assignments in other cities.
A typical workday
In the Premium role, no day or customer is the same, and that’s exactly what Maurien loves. Her tasks vary depending on the customer’s needs and can include:
Organizing cabinets
Sorting toys
Receiving grocery deliveries
Polishing surfaces
Changing candles
Caring for flowers and plants
Maintaining robot vacuums
Handling curtains
Sorting children’s clothes by season
Organizing recycling
“I treat every home as if it were my own,” explains Maurien. “I plan what needs to be done during each visit and what can wait until the next time I’m there.”

For Maurien, the freedom in her role is what she values most. “I’m not tied to a checklist! I can think outside the box and do more for the customer than what’s expected.” She thrives on the positive feedback she receives and appreciates the opportunity to use her creativity to help clients.

Shared responsibility makes everything easier. For example, my supervisor handles customer communication, which means I can focus fully on my tasks without feeling stressed.”
She also values the balance between her work responsibilities and her supervisor's support. “We complement each other—they handle what they’re great at, and I focus on my strengths. It works well for me, the company, and, of course, the customer.”

“Yes, but I would carefully consider who I recommend because my name is on the line. I would only recommend someone I know can do the job well.”
