Oli’s Journey at Hemfrid

Oli began her journey at Hemfrid in 2019 as a home cleaner, working with regular clients weekly. She enjoyed the role but soon felt the desire to grow and work more in teams rather than alone. When the opportunity to apply for a Service Team position arose—where she would work alongside colleagues and meet different customers daily—she didn’t hesitate. “The best part was working as a team and feeling like we were helping each other as one unit. Ensuring quality together was something I truly appreciated.”

After gaining valuable experience, Oli took the next step in 2022 and became a Field Lead—a role she describes as both challenging and rewarding.

The Role of a Field Lead

As a Field Lead, Oli serves as a vital link between the office managers, field colleagues, and customers. She describes the role as dynamic and full of variety. "You always start the day with a plan, but something new always comes up that makes you rethink it. It’s both exciting and challenging!"

A significant part of her job involves training and onboarding new employees. “It’s fantastic to welcome a new colleague, show them the routines, and then, after a while, follow up and see that they’re doing everything perfectly ‘The Hemfrid Way.’”

Oli also oversees quality assurance to ensure everyone works consistently and maintains high standards. “Coaching colleagues and seeing them grow with my help is one of the best parts of the job.”

Field Leads are also responsible for workplace safety—both physical and psychosocial. This includes conducting workplace assessments, identifying potential risks, and ensuring stress levels are managed. Additionally, she handles customer visits, time evaluations, and solutions for any dissatisfaction.

Why Hemfrid?

When Oli started at Hemfrid, it was her first job in Sweden, and she felt welcomed from the beginning. “Everyone here is included, and that’s something I truly value. Working with people from different nationalities and cultures is incredibly rewarding.”

She also highlights the trust and communication between her and her managers as key to her job satisfaction. “In my role, problem-solving is a big part of the job, and it’s invaluable to feel that my managers trust me and my judgment.”

Oli is someone who constantly seeks to grow and learn new things, and Hemfrid has provided her with that opportunity. “When I wake up in the morning and get ready for work, I’m always happy—then you know you’re in the right place.”

Looking Ahead

Oli is optimistic about the future and open to new challenges. “I’m driven and have big goals. Maybe one day I’ll take on a role with personnel responsibility or something more HR-focused—we’ll see!”
