The journey at Hemfrid
When Natalia started as a recruiter at Hemfrid in 2019, she—like many others—had certain preconceived notions about the cleaning industry. However, during her interview, she gained new insight into what Hemfrid stands for.
"It was clear that Hemfrid truly wants to make a difference in the industry and improve working conditions. Here, I felt I could do more than just recruit; I could make an impact."
Natalia's passion for the company grew quickly, and she implemented a new framework for recruitment, focusing on unbiased and competency-based hiring. With a deep commitment to social sustainability, she began actively working to promote integration within the recruitment process—something that became a personal mission.
When the pandemic hit, many recruitment processes were put on hold, and new solutions for personnel matters were needed.
"I kind of stumbled into an HR administrative role," Natalia laughs, "but that’s the Hemfrid way—we roll up our sleeves and do what needs to be done."
This new role gave her insights into how she could influence the organization in different ways, leading her to start studying to become an HRBP alongside her work.
"It was a unique opportunity to grow into the role while learning, and I’m very grateful for that."
Current role and motivation
Today, Natalia leads the operational HR work at Hemfrid, describing the past year as both educational and enjoyable.
"Operations is where you really get the chance to make an impact."
Working closely with teams and supporting colleagues has become a driving force for her.
"There’s a strong team spirit here—we learn from each other and always have the chance to grow through challenges."

She looks forward to the next step in the journey, both for Hemfrid and within the KEYTO Group.
"It’s exciting to collaborate with and be challenged by colleagues in sister companies and to be part of something bigger."
When friends and family occasionally ask why she’s stayed with the same employer for so long, she replies that every year feels like a new job.
"There have always been new challenges, new goals, and that magical feeling in my stomach—like a roller coaster with constant butterflies."
